Outing Park
-
Multi-phased, multi-year rehabilitation of 23 historic, four-story masonry buildings in the south end of Springfield built between 1913 and 1927 known as the Hollywood District. The neighborhood was designated a historic district and renamed Outing Park.
RDA designed streetscape for over 4,000 linear feet of sidewalk, including new concrete sidewalks with decorative brick banding, new street trees, and historic style ornamental street lamps. New parking lots utilized low impact development techniques such as rain gardens to prevent overtaxing the existing combined sewer system.
